Embedded C, Firmware Developer

Education: B.Tech

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Experience: 4 to 8 Years

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Must haves:

Shall have a basic understanding of software development cycles followed in Automotive.
Shall be strong in C programming.
Shall have a good understanding of hardware design and ability to read hardware schematics.
Shall have experience in developing in Assembly language program for micro-controllers.
Shall have knowledge and experience in developing linker definition files, creating linker sections and allocating code / data in it.
Shall have strong experience in developing software using any RTOS, but knowledge in OSEK OS will be preferred.
Shall have experience in developing drivers for at least any one of the following sets of microcontroller peripherals:
- CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, LIN, Ethernet (MAC layer).
- Ethernet Switches and PHY.
- PCIe switch controller.
- I2C, UART, SPI.
- NOR, NAND, eMMC or SD/MMC card, UFS.
- Input Capture, Output Compare, PWM, GPIO, ADC.
- PLL, General Purpose Timers, RTC, Watchdog.
- Hardware Security Modules.
Shall have experience in using JTAG debugger and debug tools.
Shall have experience in developing at least any one of the automotive services layer component.
- Communication services (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
- Diagnostics services (UDS, DoIP).
- Power Management, Sleep & wakeup.
- OS services (Scheduling, monitoring of stack, memory protection, timer, watchdog etc.).
- Input and output abstraction.
- Memory services (EEPROM, Flash).
- Crypto services.
Shall have a good knowledge on software static verification and testing.
