Digital Instrument Cluster Development for Electric Scooters
Our customer, a consumer electronics giant, was taking their first step into automotive product development. They partnered with us to design and develop the complete hardware and software for a digital instrument cluster.
Our expertise in automotive grade microcontroller platforms, BSW development and FOTA made us the right partner for this project.

We worked as the customer's R&D partner, collaborating with their
in-house teams for research, design and development of their
digital instrument cluster
The customer benefited from reduced BOM cost due to flexibility in
hardware and software configuration. Our library of reusable base
software modules and flash bootloader helped in reducing time-
to-market.
An End-to-End Actuator Design Solution for a Throttle Control Unit (ECU)
The customer wanted to develop an actuator to complete a closed-loop system for throttle control.
Embitel Solution:
We adopted a value engineering approach and successfully delivered a cost-effective ECU actuator solution.
Our team sourced the best-suited automotive grade components and implemented design best practices to ensure that the ECU actuator provides optimal performance under various operating conditions.
Development of ASPICE Level 2 Automotive In-Cabin Air Quality Purification ECU
In this project, we built the hardware and software for an air purification ECU with ASPICE Level 2 compliance.
Embitel Solution:
The solution utilized pulse-width modulation (PWM) to generate an optimum voltage for air ionization, ensuring efficient air purification.
The ECU was responsible for processing data from multiple sensors, interacting with the software components and controlling in-cabin air purification.
The hardware development process involved hardware schematic design for ECU, simulation tests, board bring-up and module testing. The hardware modules included a DC-DC converter and automotive grade MCU that executes the algorithm for generating optimised PWM signal.
ASIL-D Compliant Electronic Parking Brake ECU Development
Our customer is a pioneer in brake system development and
manufacturing. They partnered with us to design and develop an
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) ECU with multiple features like
ensuring safety of the vehicle occupants, managing comfort, etc.
The ECU was developed to be ASIL-D compliant, which is the
highest level of safety criticality according to the ISO 26262
standard.
Embitel Solution:
We developed a complex EPB system after performing a number of safety analysis procedures - FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, DFA. We followed model based design for this project
Hardware Development for Electric Motorcycle Dashboard
The customer was seeking expertise in designing and developing the hardware for their electric motorcycle dashboard.
Embitel Solution:
We developed a hardware carrier board and a secondary board for the dashboard of the motorcycle. The boards were interconnected, and we enabled various types of communication - mobile, CAN transmission, GPS, 4G, etc.
We assisted the customer in the following:

Software and Hardware Development for DC-DC Converter ECU
Our customer had an ambitious project to harness solar energy for electric vehicle battery charging.
We developed a DC-DC converter that takes energy from solar panels and converts it into a voltage component that is subsequently supplied to charge the battery of EVs.
Embitel Solution:
We developed the hardware, software and BSW for the DC-DC converter, in an end-to-end development cycle.
We used the model-based approach for design and also integrated our ready-to-deploy LIN stack and platform software modules for expedited completion of the project.
